Absolute quality.......
As to whether it's good quality or bad quality is open to debate ;-)
Sorry, I don't get it. Maybe because I couldn't really see who it was. Or maybe because I am thick? Don't know!
Kissme, don't tell me you never danced on "Oh, What a Night"!
This is Cloclo's hit of the 70s, from the film 'Podium' with Benoît Poelvoorde. Absolute Belgian quality, and yes, we are open to debate!!
Other than that, this video and the songs above are a wink to Zoe whom I met yesterday and "oh, what a day" we had!
Petifilou, I bet you don't get it, never mind though, it's just Belgian stuff!
You might have heard of Claude François, as you can see, he was interviewed by the BBC... a long time ago.
So, what do you think of it, bad or good quality?
oh M! oh quelle année ... Cloclo et les Claudettes - merci beaucoup :)
We'll meet again ....
Oh yes, Zed, by all means and with great pleasure! x
Sorry I'm not with you either?!
Impressed at the YOUTUBE linkage though.
Copy/paste a link and there you go, you have a youtube linkage, that's all there is to it. I'm rather impressed with your redecorated blog.
Not with me either, DQ? We'll iniate you to the French répertoire, all in good time.
effort was all Bfs.
We all liked them, Dip Dop! The Claudettes may look a bit silly nowadays but more than three decades ago, all the girls wanted to look and dance like them (me included). We would never ever admit to like Cloclo's songs at the time, but we all practiced secretly in front of our bedroom's mirror...
dip-dop - j'adore les claudettes - je suis si vieille que ça!
"oooo quelle année ...."
superbe!
I have to admit I have danced to that tune, but not that artist.
But in a wet car park with shopping trolleys? Err, no.
this is the original tune - he also wrote and sung 'comme d'habitude' which became better known as 'my way'.
see, those frogs can sing.
The show must go on... we're still young in spirit, aren't we?
Kissme, since you know the tune, you're hired at once. Zoe and I will gladly show you the genuine frog trot steps.
Dip Dop, we absolutely need that French touch of yours. You will join in as Cloclo, won't you?
Fortuna fauet fortibus. Osez, osez donc, mais qu'attendez-vous!?
Amicalement vôtre,
M.
